Terms and Conditions

These terms of trade apply to all contracts for the supply of goods and services ("jewellery") made by Jewel Beetle and the person purchasing the goods and services. Any amendment or alteration must be agreed in writing

Jewel Beetle is a member of the Jewellers and Watchmakers Association of New Zealand www.jwnz.co.nz and the Retailers Association of New Zealand.

Taxes

Our Prices only include relevant New Zealand Taxes.
Applicable Taxes and Duties for Countries other than New Zealand are your responsibility, as are any clearance fees associated with importation.
Most countries have a minimum threshold under which tax and duty are not collected. This varies from country to country, but small orders will normally incur no added importation costs.

Ordering and Availability

All dollar amounts shown on this website are in New Zealand dollars. If an item is in stock, we endeavour to ship it to you within 2 working days.
However, most items are made to order especially for you. It may take up to four weeks to complete an order.

We are a small company and we do not operate an on-line credit card ordering facility (shopping cart). However, we do accept credit cards with an order form and your signature.

For security reasons we only accept New Zealand credit cards over the telephone.

For our New Zealand customers only, we offer a 5% discount, if you make a direct credit payment into our bank account - just call or email for our bank account details.

Payment

We accept the following methods of payment:
For international customers we accept - Visa and Mastercard with a signature only.
Eftpos (in store)
Direct Credit (available for NZ transactions only, please call for our bank details.)
Sorry we do not accept personal cheques, American Express or Diners cards.

Shipping costs

Orders in New Zealand over $150 within New Zealand are free of delivery charge.
We want you to enjoy your Jewel Beetle purchase as soon as possible.
Once your purchase leaves our premises you will receive email notification that your Jewel Beetle purchase is on its way to you. Where appropriate a tracking number will be included.
We always use the “signature required” service by Courier post.

** An addition insurance cost is added to items valued over $1500 sent within New Zealand or overseas. This cost varies according to the value of the item, please enquire.

Please choose carefully as we do not offer a refund simply because you have changed your mind.
We believe that we accurately describe the products in our online store and that the photos of our individual pieces of jewellery display the colour with a reasonable degree of accuracy. However, the colour that you see on your computer screen depends on a number of factors including the colour quality of the computer screen that you are using. Also, our stones and pearls may reflect different colours depending on the light.

As we use natural stones and pearls in our jewellery you need to be aware that there may be some colour variations within the stones and pearls and that some will have natural inclusion. Any inclusions are not flaws and in many cases these are evidence that the stones / pearls are not man-made. We believe that inclusions enhance the natural beauty of our products. Diamonds off course are an exception to this.
You should also be aware that our jewellery is hand made and therefore you should expect variations that are inherent in jewellery that is not mass-produced. Again, we believe that such variations enhance the natural beauty of our jewellery. Please note that the piece of jewellery shown in the photograph may not be the exact piece that you receive, however, the dimensions and quality of the piece will be similar. As our jewellery is handmade there will be individual variations within similar pieces, which in turn make every piece unique.

When you receive your purchase and you believe that it is significantly different to that described in our online store or that it is faulty, we ask that you advise us within 5 days of having received your purchase. info@jewelbeetle.co.nz

Your satisfaction is important to us, and we endeavour to produce the best jewellery we can, of the best quality materials and workmanship.
In the unlikely event of a product being faulty please contact us within 5 days of having received your purchase info@jewelbeetle.co.nz
On return of the jewellery with our receipted invoice enclosed, we will repair or replace it, and reimburse your postal charges. You will not be charged postage a second time for the replacement jewellery.

If you are returning faulty goods, please note that the risk in transit is yours until we receive the goods. Please make sure you send any returns insured and "signature required", or we will not be held responsible for any loss incurred.

This Website is available only for your personal use and Jewel Beetle has the right to change or discontinue any feature. You must not copy, reproduce, republish, frame, post, upload, distribute, transmit or modify in any way all or any part of the material contained on this Website without the prior written approval of Jewel Beetle.
